Complete guide to prepare and submit your manuscript to Ambara: Journal of Science and Technology

Manuscript Requirements

 

General Format

Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English, with clear, concise, and logical writing.

Paper Size and Margins

A4 paper size with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Use 1.5 spacing for body text and single spacing for footnotes.

Font and Size

Use Times New Roman or Calibri font, 12pt for body text and 10pt for footnotes and references.

Manuscript Length

Research articles: 5,000-8,000 words. Review articles: 6,000-10,000 words. Short communications: 2,000-3,000 words (excluding references).

Manuscript Structure

 

Research manuscripts must follow this structure:

  1. Title - Short, descriptive, and informative (not more than 15 words)
  2. Author Names and Affiliations - Include email of corresponding author
  3. Abstract - Maximum 250 words, containing background, methods, results, and conclusions
  4. Keywords - 3-6 relevant keywords
  5. Introduction - Context, research problem formulation, and research objectives
  6. Methods - Detailed description of research design, participants/samples, and procedures
  7. Results - Research findings supported by tables and figures
  8. Discussion - Interpretation of results, comparison with previous research, limitations
  9. Conclusion - Summary of main findings and their implications
  10. References - Complete list of all cited sources

Writing Guidelines

 

Tables and Figures

All tables and figures must have descriptive captions. Tables are numbered as Table 1, Table 2, etc. Figures are numbered as Figure 1, Figure 2, etc. Minimum quality of 300 dpi for images.

Mathematical Equations

Use Microsoft Word Equation Editor or MathType for equations. Number equations that are cited in the text.

Citation Style

Use IEEE or APA citation style. All references must be listed in the reference list and each reference must be cited in the text.

Originality

Manuscripts must be original work that has never been published before and is not currently under consideration in another journal.

Conflict of Interest Declaration

Authors must disclose potential conflicts of interest, funding sources, or other support.

  2. Download the official manuscript template (see Manuscript Template section below)
  3. Submit your manuscript through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) portal
  4. Complete author information and abstract in the system
  5. Wait for confirmation of receipt from the editorial team
  6. Monitor your manuscript status through your OJS account
